Back in 2008 I was at art school in a small English city called Winchester.

I was undergoing a degree in graphic arts, specializing in advertising design.

Below is an advertising campaign I created during that time.

A campaign for fair trade bananas.

It is, inarguably, The Worst Piece of Work I Have Ever Made.

How I got onto that course if this is the sort of work I was creating will forever remain a mystery.

As will what on earth possessed me to create a SEXY fair trade banana campaign.

(Fair trade. Like wholesome, and good for the planet and underserved communities).

Perhaps it was all the sexual deviance flying around the campus at that art school.

Or just my inability to look past the phallic nature of the product. #SexSells

Either way, I have it on my website as a sobering reminder of just how far I’ve come.
